The Guidelines

Arrive on time and attend the Safety Team huddle.

Safety Team members should wear the provided ministry lanyard and radio at all times while serving. Part of creating a safe is being easily recognizable to other volunteers and staff.

Connect with your Safety Team Lead. They will assign you to a particular area and communicate any details specific to the weekend.

Make people feel seen. Eye contact and a Smile is the greatest tool we have.

Engage with people you don't know using the 5 questions. Offer assistance and answer questions.

Have friendly interactions with guest and children. Hand out the provided stickers to children.

Take any lost or left behind items, including keys, cell phones, jackets, and completed offering envelopes, to the Connections Pastor.

“See Something Say Something”, reporting incidents to the Safety Team Lead and/or Uniformed Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) on campus before they escalate to a need for further action.

Remain in your assigned area throughout service. Work in pairs when possible and always let another team member know if you need to leave your area. Remember Kid Point Safety is our priority.

Be familiar with the Safety Team PODs.

Refrain from eating, drinking, or using your phone while serving.

If you will miss your opportunity to serve, please inform your team lead.
