Dear North Point family,

This is the first impact report North Point has ever published, and Kristen and I didn’t want it to start with a chart. We wanted it to start with “Thank you.”

These pages cover the last twelve months, a stretch that included a pastoral transition. This church didn’t sit still through it. 288 people decided to follow Jesus, and 367 got baptized. More than 1,068 people walked through our doors for the first time and found somebody waiting to welcome them. That’s the fruit of Jeremy’s leadership that got us here, and a church that stayed faithful when it would have been easy to wait and see. Thank you for staying faithful to North Point Church. It’s made a difference.

So why a report? Because we want you to know what your generosity is doing. From here on, every year, we’ll show you what God did over the past year and where the money went. Some years will be all good news. Some years will include the hard parts. Either way, you’ll hear it from us first, and you’ll get it straight. Trust is built slowly, and we want you to see what your giving has already done before we ask you to trust us with what’s next.

For over twenty years, North Point has been a safe place to find and follow Jesus. That isn’t changing. We’re building on it. The best thing a safe place can produce is people who go live it out somewhere else: at work, at school, at the kitchen table, in the checkout line at the grocery store. Jesus put it plainly: “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you” (John 20:21). That’s the next page of our story. Real life. Safe place. Sent people. All for Jesus.

Thank you for trusting us with this church. The best part of this job is hearing what God is doing in and through you out there, Monday through Saturday.
