Give & Go Logo

As a part of Give Back, we take trips, both stateside and internationally, to reach our neighbors who are “far away” but need to experience God’s love and compassion just like us here at home.

So, we’re challenging our church to GIVE and GO!

GIVE NOW

We believe that being a good neighbor means seeing needs and meeting needs. And we’ve got neighbors both at home and far away.

Overview of trip: This team will serve Florida Baptist Children’s Home in Lakeland, Florida. FBCH was founded in 1904 and they provide safe, stable Christian homes and services to children and families across the state and around the globe. “Last year alone they served over 74,000 children through their campuses, foster care services, adoption services, Caring Families, emergency care, compassion ministries and more. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, FBCH works to share with children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned the protective and healing love of Jesus.” Your team will spend the week staying on their Lakeland campus and serving the children and house parents living in the homes there! A typical day will look like playing and spending time with the kids through games, activities, or VBS, or even doing a service project that will help the house parents living on campus! This team may also have the opportunity to serve the community of Lakeland through working with at-risk teenagers as well as working with the homeless population!
